This site contains photographs of private,corporate and military helicopters taken at Enniskillen/St Angelo Airport (EGAB).Some of the military helicopters (Gazelle,Lynx,Puma) were photographed whilst operating out of Grosvenor Barracks in Enniskillen prior to its closure. |

Gazelle,Lynx (Army / Navy),Puma and Merlin.The Gazelle,Lynx and Puma operated out of RAF Aldergrove and the various Army Barracks,including Grosvenor Barracks in Enniskillen.

 | | '03' Heli Challenge 2009
A number of local helicopters took part in 'Heli Challenge 2009' - a series of tasks set over two days testing the crews skills whilst navigating around the local area on day one, and an obstacle course during day two.The overall winner was Jet Ranger G-SKII.Also included are some other visitors to the airport on the day.

 | | '04' RNLI 'Water Safety' Day 2009 / 2008
Local RNLI crews demonstrated some rescue procedures on Lough Erne,then EI-CXS and G-PSNI both landed so that the public could view the aircraft close up.These helicopters are regularly deployed for Search and Rescue missions.The 2009 event also attracted some seaplanes and helicopters which were appearing at a Seaplane Fly-In.

Some of the helicopters that followed the various 'Rally Ireland' stages of the World Rally Championship 2009 and previously in 2007.The weather was terrible during both events - wet and miserable.
